This year's American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting was held from June 1-5 in Chicago, Illinois. Numerous presentations add to the growing body of evidence for the use of targeted therapies in renal cell cancer while other interesting presentations support further evaluation of these agents in traditionally difficult-to-treat diseases such as liver cancer and melanoma. We have summarized the more salient presentations and have speculated as to what these mean to their respective markets. In addition, we have also updated some presentations of interest such as Satraplatin in prostate cancer and Revlimid in multiple myeloma. We have also attached a list of data events from the conference for your perusal.
