2015 BioMedTracker / MedDeviceTracker ASCO Weekend Update + Survey

June 01, 2015

The 51st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology is underway in Chicago. This year, immunotherapies are dominating the meeting, especially the PD-1 inhibitors. Pivotal data presented at the meeting are showing just how much these therapies will change treatment paradigms across a wide-range of tumor types, leading Karnosfsky Award lecturer, Dr. Suzanne Topalian, to already declare them as the fourth pillar of cancer therapy.

This mid-meeting report features our coverage through the first three days of the 2015 ASCO meeting. The report includes:
  • A list of the 163 weekend data events we have added into BioMedTracker to date
  • Summaries of key presentations, including added commentary by our Scientific Analysts attending the meeting
  • Companion diagnostic coverage from our new sister product, MedDeviceTracker
  • A brief survey of physician opinions on notable events courtesy of our BioMedTracker add-on primary research product, KOL Insight.
Additional coverage through the rest of the meeting will be added to the database over the next few days and compiled in our post- meeting report. For our disclosures, please read the BioMedTracker Research Standards.
