The 51st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology is underway in Chicago. This year, immunotherapies are
dominating
the meeting, especially the PD-1 inhibitors. Pivotal data presented at the meeting are showing just how much these therapies will change
treatment paradigms across a wide-range of tumor types, leading Karnosfsky Award lecturer, Dr. Suzanne Topalian, to already declare
them as the fourth pillar of cancer therapy.
