All ReportsDatamonitor Healthcare I&I: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) Disease Coverage
April 20, 2018
Lupus is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder that can affect many different body systems, including the joints, skin, kidneys, blood
cells, brain, heart, and lungs. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) refers to the systemic form of the disease, which includes organ-specific
variants such as lupus nephritis. This disorder can be very difficult to diagnose as its signs and symptoms often mimic those of other
conditions, and a physician is unlikely to ever see two cases that are alike.
