Datamonitor Healthcare Oncology: Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) Market Spotlight

February 12, 2024

A neuroendocrine tumor (NET) starts in the neuroendocrine system of the body, which consists of a combination of nerve cells and hormone-producing endocrine cells. Neuroendocrine cells can be found throughout the body in the organs along the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including the stomach and intestines, as well as in the lungs. These cells perform specific functions, which include controlling how quickly food moves through the GI tract, and the regulation of blood and airflow through the lungs.

This Datamonitor Healthcare report contains a Market Spotlight module.
