The 40th Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) was held on 18-20 September, 2024, in Copenhagen, Denmark. ECTRIMS is among the largest neurological conferences, primarily focusing on MS. The 2024 conference was themed ‘Dedicated to the Dedicated’ in honor of patients and caregivers in this field. This year, we saw advancements in understanding the role of Vitamin D in MS, a much-debated topic along with the emerging role of biomarkers in understanding MS. Companies also released much awaited results from long-term trials marking extended capabilities of current and emerging therapies in treating this life-long condition.
