HER2-Positive Breast Cancer KOL Interview - US, South

A US-based academic breast medical oncologist at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX) shares perspectives on the HER2-positive breast cancer treatment landscape across early-stage and metastatic settings, including neoadjuvant and adjuvant management, use of trastuzumab deruxtecan (Enhertu/T-DXd) in residual disease and first-line metastatic settings, treatment sequencing, reimbursement and insurance access in the US, and key areas of unmet need. The KOL also discusses emerging agents including palbociclib (PATINA regimen), inavolisib (Itovebi), giredestrant, zanidatamab (Ziihera), vaccine immunotherapies (GLSI-100, Bria-IMT), CAR-T therapies, and novel antibody-drug conjugates targeting HER3 and other receptors.
