This US-based key opinion leader (KOL) offers perspectives on the current treatment landscape in multiple sclerosis (MS). The KOL discusses MS patient classification across subtypes and provides detailed estimates of treatment rates within each category. He examines prescribing considerations for disease-modifying therapies (DMTs), including the shift toward high-efficacy treatments at diagnosis, payer-driven access barriers, and the persistence of legacy platform therapies among stable patients.
